ADMITTED GALLERIES

Within its constant renovation, strengthening and capturing new participants of the national and international galleries panorama, the next edition of ARTE LISBOA will have the presence of 70 galleries, of which 45 are national and 25 foreign. In relation to the main national representation we would like to emphasize the new inclusions of the galleries Art Forum, Bernardo Marques, Leonel Moura, Nuno Sacramento and Pente 10, that for the first time will be attending the fair.In regards to the international participation, Spain, once more is the widest present foreign country with 21 exhibitors and makes the most ample new attendance with the galleries Adhoc, Alonso Vidal, Bacelos, Casaborne, Del Sol St., Heinrich Erhardt, Marisa Marimón, Estiarte and Marta Cervera. Once more Brazil will be in ARTE LISBOA with the gallery Amparo Sessenta of Recife, as well as Mozambique with its reference point with Muvart. And to finish Germany will be present through the new participation of Brot und Spiele Galerie, and Korea with the inclusion of Aka Gallery.

ARTE LISBOA Presentation at SWAB Barcelona

ARTE LISBOA Exhibition presented on May 15th its upcoming edition (November 19th thru the 24th, 2008) at the International Fair of Contemporary Art SWAB, which held its inauguration at Atarazanas Reales in Barcelona.

This presentation was undertaken by the Director of ARTE LISBOA, Ivânia Gallo, who hosted a Portuguese wine and cheese tasting event for important personalities of Barcelona’s art sector as well as for all gallery owners that participated in the exhibition.

These two exhibitions will, therefore add continuity to a fruitful joint cooperation that began last November when Ms. Marina Diez-Cascón, SWAB director, attended a debate forum during ARTE LISBOA 2007, at the International fair of Lisbon.
